Our Story
At the age of 8, I participated in a Hindi school in the hopes that I could learn about Indian mythology, language and culture in an engaging way. Instead, I was faced with a disorganized and uncertified curriculum with large group sizes. But perhaps one of the largest challenges was the method of teaching, we were taught to cram information from one-time lectures in additional there were was no material to review and no check-ins. Later that year, when learning Indian history by my bua (aunt), I unlocked a trove of knowledge through my bua’s activities like watching movies, reading indian comics, solving riddles and puzzles and exploring short stories. Later, through these very same method I continued to learn about Indian mythology, culture, dance, arts and language. So, after trying numerous other camps and achieving similar results of disengagement and irrelevant information, my family and I decided to take initiative over our learning and make an impact to affect millions like us. Now I am a student facilitator of my bua’s dream of teaching the true meaning of global sanskar where students can unlock their full potential and know the sky’s the limit.
